In the picture above you can see the former site of the Ost Güterbahnhof on Mühlenstrasse, leveled and shortly before construction began (2006) on the new city quarter including the arena. After the name O2 Arena, it is now called the Mercedes-Benz Arena. Previously, party nights for the house and techno scene were celebrated in the former freight yard - this is where the legendary Ostgut, the forerunner of today's Berghain, stood. The developer for this entire area was the Anschutzgruppe - were they visionaries or simply smart investors?

Walk once across Mercedes Platz and you are at our second hotel at home. In 15 minutes you can walk to the general meeting.
We know that Berlin has a wide range of hotels and accommodation options, everyone has been here, everyone knows someone. With the two hotels we offer a central location from which we will start our excursions to the east. If you don't want to accept our offer or even want to stay in a 4-star hotel, take a look below.

Michelberger Hotel
We recommend this hotel for everyone who likes something a little hipper and young - it is located right next to the Warschauer Straße S-Bahn station.
It could get louder. Six minutes walk to the general meeting.
Schulz Hotels
The hotel is located at the beginning of the East Side Gallery in the direction of Mitte, diagonally opposite the Ostbahnhof, a good, young hotel. You walk 25 minutes to the general meeting along the East Side Gallery.
Hotel Indigo
If you would like to live in a 4-star area, then we recommend the Indigo, just around the corner from the Hampton. You walk 15 minutes to the general meeting.
