How did you develop the idea for your artwork? And what was their life like in the divided city of Berlin before and after the fall of the Wall
in 1989? How do you view your art and the memorial today?
You go on a discovery tour along the East Side Gallery together with an artist. A guide from the “Berlin Wall Foundation” moderates the dialogue and tells the stories behind the historical traces on the former wall site.
Begin: Holiday Inn at 10:20 a.m. (tour from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.)
Meeting point on site: 10.25 a.m. at the Infomobil, Mühlenstr. 73, 10243 Berlin
The meeting point for the tour is the Berlin Wall Foundation's information mobile on the Spree side of the East Side Gallery, diagonally opposite Tamara-Danz-Straße. The tours end in the direction of Stralauer Platz / Ostbahnhof.
