Gardens of the World – District Development
Max. 24 participants, German language – The gardens of the World are a green oasis in the capital; they were opened on May 9, 1987 on the occasion of Berlin's 750th anniversary and are among the “top three” special parks in Europe.
Your journey of discovery takes you from Bali via England to China. Wandering between our traditional and contemporary gardens, you will experience the world's gardening traditions up close in just 90 minutes and learn about the history and development of one of Berlin's most beautiful parks.
After the tour, you can individually enjoy a cable car ride over parts of the park and the view from Wolkenhain on the Kienberg also offers a panoramic view of East Berlin and the Brandenburg cultural landscape.
